Church Street Car Park SN12 6LS. Entrance to the venue can be gained
from the far end of the car park.
Finnegan’s Wake, who were headliners at the Westbury Music and Arts
Festival, will play a lively mixture of jigs and reels plus many
traditional Irish folk songs, which we can all join in. They also have
a line of witty Irish banter all of which has audiences chuckling and
tapping their feet in equal measure.
Band members Frank Hackett on Accordion and Mick Franks on Guitar have
been playing together for over 6 years. They started playing together
because they have a shared love of traditional Irish music and songs.
Melksham resident, Brian De’ath, a member of the organising committee
said, this is a new event for us and we are sure that the people of
Melksham will come along to support us as they have done in the past,
it will be a really good night. All profits raised from this event will
go towards the maintenance and restoration work of the Trust.
